Can I associate a repeating task with multiple controls?

This article provides a suggestion for how to associate a repeating task with multiple controls.

Repeating tasks in Hyperproof can be associated with only a single target ID—such as a control, risk, or label.

If you want to associate a repeating task with multiple controls, we recommend using a label as the task target.

To associate a label with multiple controls:

  • Option A (From the Label): Open the relevant label, select the Links tab, and click Add Controls.

  • Option B (From the Control): Open the target control, select the Labels tab, click Add Labels, select the appropriate checkbox(es), and click Confirm.

For example, if your task involves collecting proof, you can create the task on the label.

Once the task is completed and proof is uploaded, that proof will appear in the Proof tab of both the label and all controls linked to it.
