Workshop Description
In this workshop we covered Hyperproof Self-Service Reporting, which the key to transforming raw compliance data into high-impact, executive-ready insights. While Hyperproof provides a powerful system of record, we recognize that an organization’s reporting needs are often as unique as its tech stack. In this session, we explored how Self-Service Reporting moved beyond standard dashboards, allowing teams to pipe their Hyperproof data directly into industry-leading BI tools to create a truly bespoke reporting engine.
In this workshop, we bridged the gap between compliance operations and data visualization. We guided participants through the essentials of our Snowflake-powered data warehouse, showing them how to connect their preferred BI tools (like Tableau or Power BI) to unlock a new level of visibility into their GRC programs.
What We Covered:
The Snowflake Data Warehouse: We explored the architecture of the dedicated reporting environment and how Hyperproof synchronized data for external access.
BI Tool Integration: We provided a step-by-step walkthrough on connecting BI applications (Power BI, Tableau, etc.) to the Hyperproof data model.
The Data Model Deep-Dive: Attendees learned to navigate schemas and tables so they could accurately query their controls, risks, and evidence metadata.
Sample Queries: We showcased real-world examples of how to build cross-program heatmaps, audit-readiness trackers, and executive summaries that spoke the language of the leadership team.
By the end of the session, participants had the blueprint to stop manually exporting spreadsheets and start delivering automated, real-time insights. Whether they were looking to prove the ROI of their compliance program or identify risk trends before they became issues, this workshop served as their gateway to data-driven GRC.
